V februarju smo se z učenci pogovarjali o pomenu kulturnega praznika in obeležili dneve z likovnim, literarnim, glasbenim in gibalnim ustvarjanjem na temo Prešerna, njegovega življenja in dela.
Spomnili smo se na svetovni dan glasnega branja (5. februar) in vsak dan namenili nekaj minut glasnemu branju poezije in proze.
Risali smo portrete Prešerna in Julije v različnih likovnih tehnikah, recitirali in ustvarjalno dopolnjevali njegove pesmi ter jih predstavili z gibanjem.
Alen, 12 let: Bilo je težko, a uspelo mi je.
Učence je še posebej pritegnila vsebina Turjaške Rozamunde in osmošolec Nik jo je zapisal v angleščini, devetošolka Jerca pa se je preizkusila v nemščini.

The romance is about a girl named Rosamunda who lives in the Turjaški dvor and is known for her beauty.
Her father invites suitors to marry Rosamunda and thus gets a real warrior, Ostrovrhar, for her.
Everything is ready for the wedding when a singer mentions that there is a girl living in Bosnia, Lejla, who could be more beautiful than the bride.
Rosamunda does not like these words; so, she instructs her fiancé to bring Lejla to the castle that she can see for herself if Lejla is really more beautiful than her.
The groom obeys her and goes to Bosnia to bring Lejla back. However, when he meets Lejla in Bosnia, they fall in love and marry.
Rosamunda goes to the monastery and becomes a nun.

Die Romanze handelt von einem Mädchen Rosamunda, das im Turjaški dvor lebt und für seine Schönheit bekannt ist.
Ihr Vater lädt Verehrer ein, Rosamunda zu heiraten, und bekommt so einen echten Krieger, Ostrovrhar, für sie.
Alles ist bereit für die Hochzeit, als ein Sänger sagt, dass in Bosnien ein Mädchen Lejla lebt, das schöner als die Braut ist.
Rosamunda mag diese Worte nicht, also weist sie ihren Verlobten an, Lejla zum Schloss zu bringen, damit sie selbst sehen kann, ob Lejla wirklich schöner als sie ist.
Der Bräutigam gehorcht ihr und fährt nach Bosnien, um Lejla zurückzuholen. Als er Lejla in Bosnien trifft, verlieben sie sich und heiraten.
Rosamunda geht ins Kloster und wird Nonne.

Mnogo drobnih papirnatih kroglic je ustvarilo to sliko, ki je delo več otrok.
Ime oddelka se je s februarjem spremenilo: namesto Oddelek za otroško kirurgijo in intenzivno terapijo smo postali Otroški oddelek za otroško kirurgijo. Intenzivna terapija pa bo v prihodnje samostojni oddelek z novo maskoto – sovo. Mravljice so izginile in nova maskota je tiger. Učenci jih že pridno rišejo.
